Tom: I've been looking at your site with great interest. I believe that we have a common ancestor. My great great grandfather was Johan George Wunderlich b. 8/4/1830 in house # 19 in Bergnersreuth, Oberfranken, Bavaria. He married Anna Barbara Lang and they and 5 children emigrated in July 1967 to South Bend, IN via NYC from Bremen. Johann Georg's father's name was Andreas. - same as your Adam. With the birth dates between 1789 and 1830, they could have the same father, but not the same mother. Or, their paternal Andreas' were not the same. Would you have any further information about Adam's siblings or parents? Since Bergnersreuth is not the largest burb, it would seem odd that they aren't related somehow. Other interesting bits of trivia: Johan George's daughter was born Margaretha Barbara. Andreas married Anna Katherina Kuespert - no documentation

I enjoyed your site, I am looking for a connetion to your names, but find that your dates do not go back far enough. My gr. gr. grandmother was Dorothea Wunderlich, b.1836. Her father was Friedrick Gottlieb Wunderlich, b.1798, and his father was Christian Wunderlich, b. abt. 1775. They all lived in Wandlauszen, Ostprussian (East Prussia). If anyone can help me make a connection, I would greatly appreciate your help. I do have more information if you feel it would be of help.
